We are excited to confirm that for the 2022 season, Soar Valley Riding Club is again affiliatied to STARS Champion of Champions taking place in November 17th - 20th at Aintree.  As one of only 60 affiliated clubs we are proud to be able to offer this opportunity to our members. 

STARS Champion of Champions is an end of season riding club championship show.  Riding Clubs across the country will go head to head to be crowned Supreme Riding Club of the Year!!! 

STARS has been created to give grassroots competitors a chance to ride down the centre line in the spotlight......

Everything the professionals get riding at HOYS!! No stone has been left unturned from qualifying for STARS and recieving a Golden Ticket by post, to metal centred rosettes, flowered sashes, rugs, bridle numbers, working in time slots plus so much more.......

Last year STARS saw more the 800 competitors walk through those curtains into the Harry Hall Arena to compete in 32 in-hand and ridden finals and 8 Dressage finals. They were judged by 2 HOYS star judges on a 50/50 marking scheme. Every competitor recieved a champion metal centred rosette for qualifying, and placings went down to 8th place, along with awards in every class for best rider, best groom, rising star, best turned out...... plus every winner recieved a rug, sash , trophy and a super prize.

We also had training day vouchers, grooming hampers, riding jackets, stable rugs, riding lessons plus lots lots more!!

From the minute you arrive the buzz and the atmosphere is electric. Everyone is so excited to have made it to STARS, the evening and 5am working in time slots were filled with excited children and exhausted parents. We had work shops on turn out by a top producer and people tuned in from all over the world to watch the live stream. 

SVRC are hoping to send a full team this year so to be in with a chance of qualifiying become a member and earn your points towards this fantasttic opportunity to represent our little club. SVRC came 8th overall at STARS last year.
